One of my favorite lines is from the book Wonder.
Auggie has been bullied by a bunch of school kids because of his deformed face.
Shattered, he asks his mom, will he have to worry about such jerks throughout his life?
To which his mother replies,
“There are always going to be jerks in the world, Auggie. But I really believe, and Daddy really believes, that there are more good people on this earth than bad people, and the good people watch out for each other and take care of each other.”
Like Auggie, if you faced some jerks in your life, I will remind you there are good people out there too.
And don’t worry we will help each other out 😉
