We all know the benefits of reading books yet, only a handful of people read.
I had a poor vocabulary and ended up spending more time with a dictionary, instead of reading the actual book. This was one of the reasons why I avoided reading.
Luckily, I bought a kindle which resolved the issue and molded me into an avid reader.
Reading is one of the most underrated pleasures.
I try to encourage everyone to start reading.
I’ll love to know what are your reasons for not reading books?
Reading and eating, are 2 important pleasures in live that perfectly match together. Both concern input. Reading is how people download new knowledge in their brains. Have you ever thought about it? First your eyes see a sign, recognise it is a letter your brains combines it to a sound, several letters composing a word, a sound you hear in your brain, that makes sense. Which is translated to a meaningful message. 🤔 And all that done in just a wink of an eye. A story transmitted from 1 brain to another, just by a piece of paper. How wonderful is that
I have kindle but I am not a regular reader. Sometimes I also get bored in between. I don't read until anyone recommend me. I confused reader I would say!

Hope that helps.
I don't have a decent Library near my place. So everytime buying a paperback is not economical.
That's a genuine point bro. I believe libraries are dying a slow death. Frankly, my last visit to a library was in college.
I guess you can share books with fellow readers or buy second books online.
I'll suggest you buy a kindle if you wanna make reading a daily practice.
The books are considerably cheaper.
